The first part is completed by distance learning followed by 5 days classroom work to complete portfolios and undergo presentation assessments. Providing Security Services is a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) which will prove that your security guards have not just had the theory training but have been assessed as competent to do the job. It will help security companies to demonstrate their compliance with Section 6 of the the Approved Contractor Status they hold because they will be able to show their commitment to training and provision of nationally recognised qualifications. Clients will be able to see how you ensure the contracts they award you are properly serviced.
